With the launch of Mi Notebook in India, the company has plans to take on Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer and Asus in the laptops category. The company on June 11 is going to foray into the PC segment in India with the launch of Mi Notebook. It is said to be the rebranded variant of RedmiBook 13 that was launched last year. The company is offering a variety of laptops in the Chinese market under its sub-brand Redmi. Recently it launched RedmiBook 13 (2020), RedmiBook 14 and RedmiBook 16 with the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors. The company has now shared a 7-second long teaser on its Twitter suggesting that the Mi Notebook will be offering 12-hour battery life on a single charge. The device has been teased in an analogue clock style showing 12 laptops. The moving clock shows 12 hours revealing the battery life. The teaser says, “Guess the Epic Battery Time?”

According to CEO Manu Kumar Jain, the laptop will be India-exclusive and is going to make its India debut next week. He says that the upcoming Mi Notebook has been made keeping the Indian customers in mind. His tweet reads, “he brand new #MiNotebook will make its #Global #Debut in #India and will be: India 1st, India exclusive, Made for India Block the date: 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐄 𝟏𝟏.” The previous leaks suggest that the upcoming Mi Notebook model is going to be a rebranded variant of RedmiBook 13 to be launched with different branding. It is expected to be the one that was launched last year in 2019 that comes with the 10th generation Intel Core i7-10510U processors with 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics and GB DDR4 RAM with 512GB SSD storage. It will be featuring a 13.3-inch Full HD anti-glare display with narrow 4.65mm bezels offering 1920 x 1080 pixels of resolution with 178-degree wide-viewing angle and 250 nits maximum brightness.
