Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro will be made available in three display sizes of 55-inch, 65-inch and a 75-inch. However, both the TVs share the same specs and features, but the Pro variant comes with Quantum Dot screen, MEMC motion smoothening technology and HDR 10+. Mi TV 5, Mi TV 5 Pro specifications and features Xiaomi’s Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro carries an aluminium frame as well as screwless design. Both the Smart TVs sport 5.9mm thickness and the bezels are 47.1 per cent slimmer as compared to Mi TV 4. Mi TV 5 Pro comes with a 4K OLED Quantum Dot screen offering up to 108 per cent NTSC colour gamut, 3,840×2,160 pixels of resolution MEMC technology along with HDR10+ support. Whereas Mi TV 5 offers 4K screen with 3,840×2,160 pixels of resolution and 85 per cent NTSC colour gamut. Both the Smart TVs come equipped with 8K video playback, PatchWall user interface and are powered by Amlogic T972 SoC. The Pro model provides 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and Mi TV 5 offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. In terms of connectivity both the products by Xiaomi have three HDMI ports, two USB ports, AV inputs, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, 4 microphones, two 8W four-unit speakers and are supported by company’s own voice assistant. Mi TV 5, Mi TV 5 Pro price Xiaomi launched Mi TV 5 Pro 55-inch variant with a price tag of CNY 3,699 that translates to Rs 37,200. While the 65-inch model carries a price label of CNY 4,999 that also translates to Rs 50,300 and the Mi TV 5 Pro 75-inch model has been introduced at CNY 9,999 that translates to Rs 100,500. On the other hand, the Mi TV 5 55-inch variant comes at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 30,200) whereas the 65-inch model comes retails at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 40,200) and lastly the 75-inch model has been launched with a price tag of CNY 7,999 (approximately Rs. 80,400). According to Xiaomi the Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro’s 55-inch and 65-inch models have been put on pre-bookings and will be available for purchase in China from November 11. Until now the company has not revealed that if the Smart TVs will be launched in the other markets outside China. If they do, India will be in the first segment to get the Smart TVs.
