It is already known that the Black Shark 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC. The smartphone has been spotted on benchmark platforms twice before its launch. But it should be noted that the design and the build of the Black Shark 2 was unknown, till now. According to the image shared by Peter Wu, the Black Shark 2 will have rounded corners, which are more pronounced that the first iteration of the smartphone. However, there is no physical home button on the Black Shark 2. In Black Shark, there was a power button which housed the fingerprint scanner of the device, which is absent from its successor. Till now, there is no news if the Black Shark 2 will have a fingerprint scanner at the back or it will have an in-display fingerprint scanner. The render also shows that the Black Shark 2 smartphone will have a metal build which will give it a durable and premium look and feel. The Black Shark’s green shade runs alongside the metallic edge of the smartphone, just like the Black Shark.

Talking about the controller, the image did showcase a circular touchpad lying beside the Black Shark 2. It should be noted that the first iteration of the Black Shark came with a controller in the box itself for the sole purpose of assisting in gaming. And the second iteration of the Black Shark hopes to follow that tradition, but this time the controller has been changed. Some new gaming accessories are also rumoured to be tagged along inside the box of the Black Shark 2. Other specifications of the Black Shark 2 include a Liquid Col 3.0 technology which lets the device stay cool even during intense gaming and heavy work load. And it might come with 8GB/12GB or RAM to aid the users in multitasking.
