The users of Airtel can recharge and avail to the plan by going on their ‘My Airtel’ app, then they can go to the ‘prepaid’, then to ‘best plans’ and then to ‘talk time’. The plan can be recharged from there. The validity of Rs 100 recharge plan is 28 days for outgoing calls with lifetime validity for incoming calls, and it will give Rs 81.75 talk time. While Rs 500 will also give 28 days of outgoing and lifetime incoming calls validity and its balance will be Rs 420.73. The company is fighting to survive in the fierce telecom sector with many competitors on its heels. Airtel has been introducing and changing plans to match and compete with its closest rival Reliance Jio. And with these affordable recharge plan it hopes to gain a foothold in the market and lure in more subscribers.

Last week the company had launched Rs 1699 recharge plan which is quite similar to that offered by Reliance Jio. In this plan Airtel will be offering unlimited STD calls, roaming, local calls, 100 SMS and also 1GB of data every day. It also gave access to Airtel TV’s premium content with no FUP with this recharge. Airtel’s other unlimited recharge plans are of Rs 597 with 168 days validity in which they offer unlimited calls, 100 SMS every day and 6GB of data which gets recharged after 28 days, and Rs 998 which has a validity of 336 days with unlimited voice calling and 12 GB of data which gets recharged after 28 days.
